Record number of Purdue Global graduates celebrate their accomplishments at October commencement Purdue Global celebrated the accomplishments of more than 2,200 graduates among three in-person and two virtual commencement ceremonies on Oct. 5. More than 10,000 guests, faculty and staff attended the in-person commencements at Elliott Hall of Music. The graduates represented 26 countries and 49 states, including 390 residents from Indiana, plus the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. |

University of Chicago professor Lars Hansen, 2013 Nobel laureate in economic sciences, to highlight Purdue Presidential Lecture on Oct. 17 Nobel laureate Lars Peter Hansen, an expert at the forefront of economic thinking and asset-price modeling, will join Purdue President Mung Chiang for the next edition of the Presidential Lecture Series. Hansen’s talk, titled “Uncertainty in Our Scientific Inputs Into Policy: Disguise It or Embrace It?” is at 6 p.m. Oct. 17. |
