Staying connected; virtual resources; job opportunities
Exchange header
Hey! We missed you!

We are excited to have you back on campus and would love to connect with you! The Exchange is here and ready to help, and there are a variety of different ways you can connect with us.

Our office is currently open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. You can stop by during those hours, or—as always—you can request a virtual appointment on Handshake to review job search documents, conduct mock interviews, discuss networking and job search strategies, and much more.

You can also utilize The Exchange’s website for career development and many other needs. And be sure to follow us on social media to stay in the loop about job postings, career advice, and other updates.

Stay well, and don't hesitate to reach out to us.

We're all fancy now.

We are honored and excited to be recognized as a 2020-21 Career Development College of Distinction! Our team consistently strives to connect with students early and often whether they are career explorers, internship seekers, or preparing for life post-graduation. We are proud of the many resources available 24/7 to students and graduates . And we encourage students and alumni to connect with us virtually or in person for an even more individualized experience. Read more about this distinction here.

When you say goodbye, I say hello.

We are ecstatic to welcome Dave Hammons to The Exchange team! Dave journeyed to our office all the way from the Office of Admission, and we couldn’t be happier to have him. We have no doubt he will be a great asset to our students. Stop by the first floor of the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library and/or email Dave to officially welcome him aboard!

After 12 years of working at Marian, Debbie Burks is retiring at the end of August. Debbie has been a great resource to not only The Exchange but to Marian University as a whole.

“I’ve had the honor of working by Debbie’s side for nearly 11 of her 12 years with Marian. Through that time we’ve watched the office grow from a mighty team of two, to the ‘Career Development College of Distinction’ it is today. Debbie, we are so happy for you as you embark on this next phase of life, but know that you will be greatly missed. And you better still visit.” - Jenny Morris, executive director of The Exchange

Congratulations, Debbie!

Be there or be square.
