Networking Knights

Join The Exchange in the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library on Thursday, March 19, from 6-8 p.m. for a night of networking with alumni and friends of Marian University. This night is meant as a way to build connections and practice your networking skills in a low-pressure environment.

This event is an opportunity to practice your networking skills. The relationships built at Networking Knights have resulted in job offers in the past. Make sure to arrive in business professional attire, ready to learn more from friends and alumni of our great university.

Community Engagement

Community Engagement Showcase

The Community Engagement Showcase will take place on Thursday, March 26, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Alumni Hall. The showcase provides a forum for students to display their work with communities through poster presentations, demonstrating how the Franciscan sponsorship values are used to foster community and address social concerns.

Awards are presented to the poster presentations that show exemplary levels of reflection and potential for transformative action. Representatives of community organizations across central Indiana will discuss possible service and volunteer collaborations and participate in the poster judging. By sharing and recognizing the ways students connect with and learn from members of the Indianapolis community, the Community Engagement Showcase cultivates additional forms of curricular and co-curricular community engagement.
