Student voices, experiences, and perspectives on teaching and learning at Quinnipiac.
|
| Meet Anna My name is Anna Bailey, and I am a Junior Psychology major here at Quinnipiac, a participant in the Mental Health Awareness Certificate, and a recent inductee into the Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Academic Honor Society at QU. I am also a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma Zeta Zeta chapter and have held the position of Membership Recruitment Chairman during the 2026 term, where I helped plan and coordinate all recruitment efforts. Recently, I was elected President for the upcoming 2027 term! |
|
In my spare time I work at the K-8 private school, Easton Country Day School, as a choreographer for their theater program, having been a dancer of sixteen years growing up. I also work as a Substitute Teacher over my breaks, which has provided me with hands-on work experience in a school setting, working with children of all ages.
Now, being a part of QILT as a student project assistant, I have been given the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, and I am excited to continue to expand my knowledge and gain experience. I'm looking forward to giving you insight into the Quinnipiac experience from a student's perspective. |

From Anna: Fear of Communication Limiting Student Success Students might avoid coursework because they fear asking for help. Regular professor communication can encourage engagement and success.
