Celebrating Purdue Board of Trustees Chair Mike Berghoff’s Legacy and Impact

Since joining the board in 2009 and being appointed chair in 2015, Mike (BS industrial management ’85) has helped lead the university to incredible success and growth while managing significant challenges in the higher education landscape.

2024 Boilermaker Year in Review
Purdue University broke new records in almost all dimensions of student admissions and success, research and innovation, finance and philanthropy, infrastructure and partnerships, rankings and visibility in fiscal year 2024 that concluded in June. Then the second half of 2024 saw the opening of the first urban expansion of Purdue’s main campus, growth of the Daniels School of Business, major wins in Purdue Computes research and industry partnership, and the launch of the One Health initiative.
