Freetown  proudly presents
"The Madam Walker Story"

Learn the story of Madam C.J. Walker, America's first female self-made millionaire, as told from a different" point of view. Learn about her early life and the rich legacy she created 
in Indianapolis. This special one-character performance brings her vibrant story and history to life! Due to the scheduled renovation of the Walker Theater, this will be the last scheduled performance.  

 Friday, June 1, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
(ongoing, performance 
lasts about 30 minutes)

Cost: Program is free, donations are accepted. Building tours can be arranged for a small fee.

Freetown Village Summer Camp 2018

Camp Location: 
Avondale Meadows Academy (3980 Meadows Drive)  
Dates: June 11 - July 20, 2017, Monday - Friday
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $75.00 per week, plus one-time registration fee
Eligibility: Children ages 5 - 14 (grades K - 8). Spaces are limited.
