The second Sunday of Advent is December 9th and the reading is from the Book of Esther. This is one of the two books in scripture that do not mention God. So what does it have to do with Jesus? Our word for the day is WAIT.

Worship Art Advent 2018
Advent is a season of waiting for the Christ Child to arrive. Each year we "wait" for four weeks for our Christmas celebration. We know what is coming. Our christian ancestors in the Old Testament waited for generations and generations. They watched, they waited, they trusted that God's promise would be fulfilled. They had no idea what was coming but again and again they believed and they waited. The worship art this season is inspired by the generations of waiting.
