A LETTER FROM THE PURDUE GRADUATE STUDENT GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVE BOARD
Dear Boilermaker,
Thank you for showing up for PGSG this year. Whether through events, grants, or simply staying connected with us in one way or another, it has made a difference.
Mental Health Action Week last month gave us a moment to pause and check in, even briefly. Next week is Graduate Student Appreciation Week, another opportunity to recognize the academic and professional contributions you bring to the University. A number of events have been put together with you in mind. Please look out for updates on our socials and newsletter, and take part in what you can.
As we get closer to the end of the semester, we know many of you are staying longer on campus. Labs are running late, deadlines are close, and papers are being pushed toward submission. That stretch is real. In response, PGSG will be releasing 250 vouchers each week starting today, an increase to support more students during this time.
We also want to reaffirm the kind of community we continue to build. PGSG is for every graduate student. We do not tolerate discrimination in any form, and we remain committed to a space where all students feel respected and able to belong.
We recognize that experiences on campus are not always the same for everyone. The environment we share is shaped daily by how we treat one another, and we all have a role in maintaining a community where people feel welcome.
If something has not felt right, or if you need support, please reach out. We will do our best to assist or connect you to the right office.
Thank you for all the work you are doing, both seen and unseen.

At your service,
PGSG Executive Board 2025-2026
