Love your neighbor, wear your mask
Are you planning a visit to the church?  Please plan to wear a face mask.  Northminster has some available if you forget yours.  Staff members are currently working from home on some days, but are in the office on a staggered schedule, so not all are in the office on the same days.  Please call the church office (317-251-9489) before stopping by.

How to contact the church staff
Go to our church website, click MENU, and then STAFF (under the About tab), and choose a specific staff person, or call the church office at 317-251-9489. In case of a pastoral emergency, call Pastor Ruth Moore, at 317-753-3164.

Staying connected with the ShelbyNext app is easy!
This might be the perfect time to download and use Northminster's ShelbyNext app to help you stay connected with other Northminster church members, update your contact information, check the calendar, or give online.  Watch this short instructional video to learn how!

Ways to give
- Giving online: Go to the homepage of our website and click on Give at the top of the page, or simply click on Give at the top of each weekly email. You can give using your credit, debit card or bank account. (Did you know that if you use your bank account instead of a card your gift goes farther? The church doesn’t have to pay card processing fees when you use your checking account.)
- Checks can be mailed to the church: Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Blvd. East Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
- Contact Lori Schlabach to set up automatic giving from your checking account.

Memory of the Week
For virtual worship services during the pandemic lockdown, a dress code would be hard to define. There was a time when some folks tried, as Pennie Lumley remembers:

Before Ron Smith arrived in mid-1997 as our interim pastor, we’d been having an informal debate about whether it was appropriate to wear jeans to church. Soon after Ron started his ministry here, his family moved to Indianapolis to join him. The first time his stepdaughters Hannah and Megan came to hear him preach, they showed up in jeans. And that ended the debate.

Do you have a special Northminster memory that you haven’t already submitted for our 75th Anniversary—an event, a moment, a personal gesture? Something funny, poignant, inspiring? Just a paragraph or two? If so, please email it to John Purcell.
