|
Dear RecWell Students & Members,
We know you are awaiting answers in regards to our status on campus amidst the ongoing COVID-19 developments. We’ve also heard your questions asking how you can stay active during this uncertain time. To put your mind at ease, we want you to be aware of the actions we are taking to protect your health and the health of our Purdue community. In addition, we’d like to keep you up to date on the creative alternative delivery options we are currently developing to help Boilermakers stay active and well.
Here is what we are doing to stay in line with President Daniels and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading in our community.
Additional Cleaning & Social Distancing Measures
- Custodial staff is working around the clock to disinfect and sanitize equipment and spaces, with extra attention given to high touch and traffic areas.
- There will be signage around the building to encourage social distancing.
- To adhere to social distancing recommendations, we will only check out the following items at the equipment center: towels and locks.
- We have implemented a self-swipe system at entry and equipment checkout.
- We will continue to follow updates and protocol suggested by the CDC, Department of Public Health, and other credible agencies to best ensure the safety of our community.
Hours of Operation
This is an evolving situation, so we will be adjusting our hours and operations as things change. Our updated hours and other important information can be found here. Check back regularly for updates.
