October is Farm to School month! Their website has lots of great free resources to use to promote.
Great Lakes Apple Crunch Day used National Farm to School month to make a countdown to crunch day!  Their countdown has already arrived, but the idea is a great one to promote your produce during Farm to School Month. Thursday, October 11, 2018, was Great Lakes Apple Crunch Day. The purpose of the day is to celebrate National Farm to School Month by crunching into locally and regionally grown apples.

The above QR code was found here, so producers can make their own signs or other materials.
