Barry Pittendrigh
Barry Pittendrigh, Professor, Entomology. Dr. Pittendrigh is currently the Director of the Legume Systems Research Innovations Lab and will also assume the Urban and Industrial Pest Management Center's Directorship. Before joining Purdue University, he held an MSU Foundation Professorship at Michigan State University, and the C.W. Kearns, C.L. Metcalf and W.P. Flint Endowed Chair in Insect Toxicology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His work spans genomics, toxicology, and international development. 
Caitlin Proctor
Caitlin Proctor, Assistant Professor, Agricultural and Biological Engineering and Ecological and Environmental Engineering. Dr. Proctor earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and her PhD in life sciences from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to being named to the faculty, she was a Lillian Gilbreth Postdoctoral Fellow with the College of Engineering at Purdue. Proctor’s research interests include the microbiological, ecological, public health, and regulatory aspects of building plumbing. She also applies microbiological tools to a variety of natural and engineered aquatic systems to better understand and control their dynamics.
