Providing Bay Area families with a high quality bilingual and multilingual education, that’s the mission of the Lycée Français de San Francisco (LFSF). #3 Adaptation
Throughout the current crisis, our teams have been working hard on re-imagining the school journey and making the new normal a positive (while at times challenging) experience for students and families.
From going beyond local health authorities’ recommendations, to adapting our teaching approach or renting extra space to welcome all students on campus, we’re always looking for the out-of-the-box solution to best serve our students and their families.
#4 Caring environment
The safety and well-being of our community is front and center in all our approaches and the current COVID health crisis is no exception. All school personnels are required to be tested regularly and at least monthly, and LFSF is conveniently providing testing on campuses. We are also graciously extending this access to LFSF families monthly.
As the impacts of the crisis are practical as well as psychological, our school psychologists are organizing monthly parents support meetings to encourage discussions and provide parents with resources around the emotional and social needs of their children while our Social and Emotional Learning coordinator is supporting the students on our campuses. |
